lyrics
Raging across darkest seas of the night
Fetid winds howl with pestilent blight
Untold, the voices you no longer hear
Sacred lands prostrated by sickness, fear, and blackened skies
As avarice and hate
Sow man's fate
Over forsaken shores
A dark sun will rise
As crimson rays of dawn light the sky
Witness the tainted source of their cries
Corrupting all that once was held dear
From unseen depths, it shatters your mind in darkest night
Ordained since the dawn of time, the conquest has begun
Unworthy souls swept away by His winds of desolation
Where once had flourished an ancient world, there is only decay
A new Golgotha seared in pain, Revelation draws near as we kneel to the hammer
Under primeval stars, in icy pain
Prayers of the elect, cry out in vain
As death awaits fools in frozen lands
They wail for protection of divine hands from the father of lies

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
